Catholic Women's League of Canada
Corpus Christi Chapter
The Catholic Women’s League of Canada, founded in 1920, is a national sisterhood of Catholic women who promote awareness and respond to political and social issues that affect all Canadians. It is officially recognized by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops as a lay association of women ad is affiliated with the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations.
The Catholic Women’s League of Corpus Christi was established February 3, 2015. We invite all women of our parish (16+) to join the the fellowship of our sisterhood. Your commitment could be as easy as maintaining an inexpensive yearly membership even if you cannot attend any meetings, or if you have the time, pop into one of our meetings, or help with a project, or attend an event. We look forward to welcoming you to our council!
Why join the Catholic Women's League?
The better question would be,
"Why not join the Catholic Women's League?"
You are most welcome!
Meetings are held at 7:00 pm every first Monday of the month from September to June in the Father Troy Meeting Room at Corpus Christi Parish.
Please call Marcella Sevigny at (780) 244 4072 for more information, or pick up a brochure from the gathering space at the church.

Couples for Christ
Couples for Christ (CFC) is a Catholic movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life.
CFC began in 1981 in Manila, Philippines, when Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon (Joy in the Lord), a covenanted Christian charismatic community, realized that to effectively renew society, a conversion of both spouses, and consequently families, to Christ was necessary. This private international association of the faithful is now present in more than 100 countries around the world with more than one million members, and recognized by the Vatican Pontifical Council of the Laity.
The Archdiocese of Edmonton officially recognizes Couples for Christ and its CFC Family Ministries as a lay organization since its inception in 1995 in Edmonton, Alberta.
