 Father Gary F. Lee


Fr. Gary was born in Davao City, in the Philippines, on March 2, 1976 to Mr. Pablo Lee and Evelyn Fernandez. He is the oldest of 4 children.
In June of 1993, he entered the Queen of Apostles College Seminary for the Diocese of Tagum. In 1997, Fr. Gary earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy. After studying at the college seminary, he served at the Christ the King Cathedral as Master of Liturgical Ceremony for the Bishop of Tagum until August 2000.


On August 17, 2000, Fr. Gary arrived in Canada studying for the Diocese of Corner Brook and Labrador (formerly Diocese of St. George's NL.). In the fall of 2000, he entered St. Joseph Seminary in Edmonton for theological studies. He was ordained a deacon on January 2, 2005 in Corner Brook Cathedral in Newfoundland by His Excellency Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI.  In August of 2005, Fr. Gary transfered and incardinated to the Archdiocese of Edmonton and was then appointed deacon at St. Anthony's and St. Agnes Parish.  In the Fall of 2005, he obtained his Master's Degree in Divinity at Newman Theological College.  In February 2006, he was appointed to serve as deacon at St. Mary's Parish in Red Deer.
On April 18, 2006, Fr. Gary received Presbyteral Ordination at the hands of His Grace Archbishop Thomas Collins, then Archbishop of Edmonton, and was appointed associate pastor of St. Mary's.  On October 2007, he was appointed Administrator to the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Fort Nelson BC until May of 2008.

We are pleased to have Fr. Gary as associate pastor of St. Theresa's Parish in Milllwoods since August 2008.
